Performance?

Does anyone actually have one and can you tell us about it? I ordered one and am waiting for it to arrive. I am so excited about a smart phone with no contract and affordable service. Give the low down please tell me I will not be dissapointed.

Not a Smart Phone

Mike,

The Straight Talk Samsung R810C is not what I would call a smart phone. You can't download apps and you can't sync your emails or calendar with another program such as Outlook.

That said, it does have a beautiful big touch screen, and you can access the internet at EVDO speeds, including online email sites such as gmail or yahoo mail.

Will you be disappointed? I guess that depends on what you're expecting. If you're expecting a full-featured smart phone like an iPhone or Droid, you will be disappointed.

If, on the other hand, you are expecting a really nice "dump phone", you will love it!
