The Straight Talk Samsung R810C is not a "smart phone". As far as I can tell, there are no apps that you can buy and download like with the iPhone. The Facebook "app" on the phone simply opens the browser and takes you to m.facebook.com.
There's not an email app that you can use to sync with another email account. You can use the browser, however, to check gmail, yahoo mail, etc.
It has standard cell phone functions like a calendar and contacts list, but you can't really sync them with any outside programs.
The R810C is a nice phone with a beautiful touch screen, but it's not what I'd call a smart phone.
